GREG WARNER

Greg has toured the world extensively with legendary singer Dionne Warwick, including Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, Australia, Africa and Central America. During this period, he played a Command Performance for The Queen of England, for the Royalty of Thailand, the International Songfest in Seoul, Korea, and many more prestigious USA and international engagements.

Greg’s musical and performance credits are beyond impressive, including drummer for The Temptations, drummer and music director for Motown Magic Production at The Herberger, Phoenix Symphony NYE fund raiser, co-founder of “Crawfest” Music and Food Festival for local charity, producer for local recording artist, manager of Union Hall Theatre featuring major touring acts such as Sheryl Crow, The Indigo Girls, Yes, Dave Matthews, etc.

In addition to his work with the Wicked Koalition, Greg can also be found performing local and international jazz performances with Concord recording artist Dennis Rowland, local and national concerts with former Ichiban recording artist Francine Reed, and drumming for various artists and acts such as Freda Payne, Easton Ashe, Margo Reed, Nancy Gee and many others. He has performed at The Telluride Jazz Festival, Taos Jazz Festival, Heritage Jazz Festival (New Orleans, LA,) Puerto Penasco International Jazz Festival, the San Xavier Festival and Jazz Performance Tour in Spain, and many, many more.

If that’s not enough, Greg was the staff drummer for the Solid Gold Television show, and has recorded with B.B. King, Isaac Hayes, Tina Turner, The Pointer Sisters, Hank Williams Jr., Roger Miller, Billy Preston, Rupert Holmes, and countless more. He has played on HBO and televised specials with Dionne Warwick and many guests including Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Jerry Butler, Patti Labelle, Elton John, Gladys Knight, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis Barry Gibb and The Righteous Brothers. He spent years in various productions ranging from circus, rodeo and ice capades to theatrical plays, R&B, Jazz and Rock groups and The LSU Symphony Orchestra.

The Wicked Koalition couldn’t hope for a more accomplished drummer and musician than Greg Warner!
