SPEAKER SYSTEM:
TECHNICAL RIDER(cont..)
1. ARTIST requires high-powered, top quality, digitally controlled speaker systems, such as Nexo, EAW, LʼAcoustic, Meyer, or equivalent. The system will be configured in full stereo and respond evenly from 20Hz to 20,000 Hz. Dispersion characteristics of the system should be uniform throughout the complete listening area of the venue. To eliminate any obstructed view seating, the speaker system should be either flown from rigging points over and clear of the stage, or elevated to a height in keeping with uniform dispersion and sound pressure level throughout the complete listening area of the venue.
2. Mid and high-packs will be elevated so that a “standing audience” will not obstruct them.
STAGE:
NO cabling is allowed to cross the performance area of the stage. ALL monitor speaker cable, mic cable, etc. must be of sufficient length to be run around the perimeter of the stage if necessary. PURCHASER will provide any additional mixing consoles, microphones, DIʼs, stands, AC supply, etc. to accommodate any support act additionally performing.
FOH and monitor input channels utilized by ARTIST are not to be used by any support act, without consent from ARTISTʼs Front of House Engineer.
FRONT OF HOUSE:
Front of House position shall be raised so that line of sight to the stage will not be obstructed by a standing audience. 2. Preferred consoles are Yamaha PM4K, Midas XL3, Midas XL4. Substitutions must have a minimum of thirty-two (32) inputs, eight (8) subgroups, eight (8) VCA groups and six (6) switchable pre/post-fade auxiliary sends. Each input channel EQ section must have a full-range high pass filter and 4-band EQ with two (2) sweepable mid-band controls. Insert points must be available on all inputs and subgroups.
3. There MUST be adequate lighting for console, processing, EQʼs, and effect racks.
Requirements for FOH outboard equipment are as follows: (2) 31Band, 1/3 Octave Equalizers for main PA adjustment ( Klark Teknik - DN 360 Stereo ) (4) Channels of Noise Gate (BSS, Drawmer, or equiv.) (2) Channels of Compressor/Noise Gate (BSS, Drawmer, or equiv.)
This Artist Rider Agreement Pack is an integral part of the entire PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT. No changes can be made without the prior written consent of the ARTIST.
